MODAFINIL PYJAMAS

This work is an extension of The Pyjama project, using the paper literature given with this medication to make a small pair of pyjamas. These were photographed and manipulated with Adobe Illustrator.

Modafinil is a drug commonly used to treat the sleeping disorder Narcolepsy. Making 3D structures out of the paper has highlighted some of the wording, putting focus on some elements of this medication that is not remembered when taken day in, day out, such as a risk if breast feeding, the possibility of increased anxiety, blood clots and heart issues. Using medication to encourage the body to stay awake can, of course, have some side effects.
